Blonde moments and vibrating toilets

Day One

Left for Edinburgh Airport early in the morning on the 8th July 2010. At check i was chatting away and the girl said that there was someone else doing a Trek tour that was on my flight, so i set out to look for her so i had someone to talk to.  We meet in the the departure lounge and hung out till we boarded.  She was staying at the same hotel so we had arranged to go off exploring later on.  

We meet a Nanda, Rebecca and Sarah and we headed down to Manhattan (this place is huge).  We had a look around Times Square and noticed that there was a gig going although we couldnt get near (turns out it was Lady Gaga).  We went to a place called Ruby Tuesdays it was so amazing.

We had an early night as a few of them were leaving the next morning on their tours.

Day Two

We got up so early to have breakfast and say bye to the girls.  Me and Nanda met Nic who was also on our tour and headed to Manhattan for our first full day.  We took the free ferry that goes around Staten Island.  The views are so amazing, we got some great pics of the skyline and the Statue of Liberty.  We got a metro card which allows you to travel all around Manhattan.  

We had some blonde moments when we couldnt find the Empire State Building (how we couldnt find it i will never know).  Then i got lost inside the building (again blonde moment).  I got some really good pics, the views are so breath taking.  Then we went to look for Central Park and couldnt find it as so many people were giving us different directions.  

Time was getting on so we decided to head back to the hotel were we met Heather, Cat and Sophie and arranged to meet for dinner later on.  We went to a place called Hoolieos and had such a good laugh.  Me and Sophie went to the toilets and we very amused when we realised they were vibrating toilets. we told everyone who of course had to try.  Back at the hotel more the group had arrived so we had a few beers before hitting the sack for the big day ahead of us
