A little about me

I have always dreamed of travelling the world, but after graduating i was pretty broke and got stuck into the 9-5 (or 7-4 in my case) grind. Since i had studied Travel and Tourism this had made me want to travel even more, with learning all about the different countries and cultures.

Since graduating almost six years ago i have spent every summer working in Tenerife where it is completely acceptable to be a drunken bum for the entire season.  Working in Tenerife is like living the dream, the   things that you get up to is unbelievable.  I have partied with the stars of my parents are aliens (kids tv show from years ago) and Ricky Hatton. Trust me Magaluf Weekender and Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents dont have a patch on the Tenerife workers.  All the partying aside you make great friends that become like family.

After my season in 2009 i had decided that it was time to be serious about going travelling and to start saving.

I looked into Trek America and decided that i was going to do the Transcontinental South leaving 10th July 2010.
